you cannot tell me that ilvermony is any different from american public school ok that place is located in the hills of massachusetts and these kids probably went to school before this, so i see no way students attend it without:
-intense jeapordy review games in potions
- calling their teachers by their last names
- making their screen names those of wizarding celebrities in kahoot
- or just those of celebrities in the muggle world, which let’s be real is probably more popular and more common than wizarding ones
- intense fights over whether high school musical or camp rock is better
- instead of repping quidditch teams during the world cup they’re arguing over the best football team
- sneaking ways to watch the football games in the fall and going hard for the super bowl
-being super shook at the quality of the lunches bc we all know public school lunches suck ass
-axe in the lockeroom.

-RAP BATTLES IN THE CAFETERIA

Little Things that Slytherins do
- Sit up straight- it might be a power asserting thing, it might just be a natural habit but I think Slytherins tend to have good posture
- Be very selective- it’s not that they’re trying to be mean but if you don’t reach a standard that they have for people they just won’t be friends with you
- Let sarcastic comments slip everywhere- to your friends, heck yeah. To your parents? Mostly when it’s all fun and games or maybe when they’rein a heated argument
- Know where all your weak spots are- Slytherins are very observant and can usually figure out another person’s insecurities and weaknesses quickly. What they do with it is up to them
- Tend to like privacy- I’m not saying all Slytherins are introverts but Slytherins definitely aren’t all about sharing their secrets with everyone
- Subconsciously get really competitive- it doesn’t have to be in sports and anything all up in your face (though sometimes it really can be) but all Slytherins strive to be the best in what they like to do
- FInd interest in deep mysterious things- inside every Slytherin I think there’s some Ravenclaw who’s really confused and just wants to read quotes all day. Slytherins tend to like things that have poetic meaning or relatability to them like the ocean, fog, cats, gothic architecture, and quotes that accurately describe their emotions
- Always have a ton of blankets- maybe it’s a cold-blooded thing, maybe it’s the fact that the Slytherin common room is freezing and that’s what my mind carries with me but Slytherins tend to burrito themselves in blankets, always making sure to cover their feet completely and try to figure out how to get their hands underneath and still do whatever they’re doing
- Have nervous habits- Yeah. Maybe playing with their hair or hands, maybe doodling, maybe tapping I don’t know. It’s unfortunately a sign of weakness but it’s just something they do
I just saw Aquaman (spoilers)
- The AquaMera kiss was horny as hell and I appreciate that
- Wan invented visuals and so I never want to hear that DC movies are “colourless” ever again
- The fight scenes were so good! I love them!!
- Even though Black Manta’s dad killed people it was still difficult to see him die because of Yahya’s performance
- *Stefon voice*: The movie has just a little bit of everything; romance, action, adventure, superhero, revenge and mommy issues
- Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Amber Heard, Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson…. my bisexual ass has never been thirstier
- I want the Kathan/Kathran/Katrak thing to be my pet
- Despite Mera and Atlanna having costumes that were very sexy, they were never sexualized and I love That™
- Julie Andrews playing an ancient sea creature was something I never knew I needed
- Orm was right… kill us king
- The trident toss that Atlanna, Orm and Arthur did really is a family trait
- Mera and Arthur really worked as a team instead of one being the stronger party and the other just being deadweight tagging along
- Atlanna and Thomas made me cry… bless their reunion
- Baby Arthur? I die
- THE ENTIRE SICILY SEQUENCE
- Momoa is perfect for Arthur, he loves this character so much and incorporates his own Maori identity into the role which shines through and makes me so happy
- This movie gave me two sympathetic villains and for that I applaud it
- It’s a wonderful palette cleanser after the mess that was Justice League
- Mera was super confused over surface world customs which I deeply appreciated like she fucking thought roses were food and accidentally stole a boat lmao
- There are some minor nitpicks I have that irked me but the pros far far outweighs the cons
- Aquaman might be in my top three DCEU films and I’m definitely seeing it again
- “Produced by Deborah and Zack Snyder” HELL YEAH MY PARENTS ARE THRIVING
